I started on my City Host journey in May/June 2021. I saw the drive to recruit City Hosts and felt drawn to it, showcasing and helping our city at such an important and exciting time. I spoke often to family and friends about all the events and shifts I had completed. Explaining that as well as being welcomed by everyone on the team I felt I was giving something back, I had gained fulfilment, made new friends and had such a happy, lovely time on shifts.

Candis has lived in the city for 45 years and is passionate about the history of Coventry. With family members who worked at the Standard Triumph Motor Factory and on the restoration of the roof of St Mary’s Guildhall, the city is part of Candis’ heritage.
