What inspired you to sign up to be a volunteer?

I was inspired to sign up to be a City Host volunteer as having been a Coventry Ambassador since 2012 and enjoying all the wonderful events I d been involved in since then I wanted to continue to play my part again promoting the City in this way.

What have you gained from your experience volunteering so far?

I have gained a sense of achievement from helping to make events happen and making a difference to those attending. I also gained much enjoyment and sense of friendship from the teams and organisations I worked with.

To anyone thinking of becoming a volunteer I would say Dont hesitate  Do It  !  You will find support and new friends and feel part of a Community who promote our City

What has been your most memorable or favourite moments of volunteering so far?

The most memorable event I have attended was the Daniel Lismore Exhibition and being invited to the ball and meeting lovely famous people like Daniel himself and Boy George as well as famous fashion designers.
